According to a Tweet from Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software, a patch allowing Borderlands 2 save files to transfer between PS Vita and PS3 will arrive this coming Tuesday. The software update, which was initially supposed to release alongside the game, was then delayed, with an expected release today. Unfortunately, it seems that the developer of the port, Iron Galaxy, is still hard at work on the cross-platform patch.

While our review of Borderlands 2 on the PlayStation Vita is still in progress, the game has been widely criticized for its inferiority to the console versions in both performance quality and included features. I personally spoke with Matt Milberger, the producer of the port, at GDC who said that the version of the game I played there would be refined for launch. For more Borderlands-related news, stay tuned to B-TEN.com!
